All our sessions can be adapted to your needs and/or function. We come to your home, venue, school or group. For outdoor events, parties, fêtes etc. we can bring our 5m x 5m event tent with displays. For indoor events and sessions we bring our indoor displays.
​Lu’s Owls offers you the opportunity of holding a function with a real difference held at your home or venue – all the sessions are fun and informative, creating lots of brilliant memories which can all be caught on your camera.
 
Our sessions normally last for one hour (but this can be extended if required) and if it is being held in our tent this can be used for a further hour for an additional nominal charge, to should you wish to use this for serving food etc. 

For Birthday Parties, we recommend a maximum of 12 children per party.

Story Telling with Owls

  • For 2 to 5 year olds
  • Specially written  fun stories designed around the Owls to give younger children a wonderful and memorable experience.
  • These stories are a fun introduction to these enchanting birds and  allow  the children to join in with the owls as much or as little as they wish
  • At the end of the story, everyone is able to meet and hold (if they wish) the owls.
  • This one hour session is ideal as a Birthday Party, for Pre-School groups, younger primary school classes and special needs groups.

British Owl Experience

  • 5 year olds + (can be adapted as a junior, senior, family or group session)
  • This hands on session is a lovely introduction to our wonderful British Owls, lots of facts including who they are, where they live, what they eat, their “superpowers”, myths and legends etc.
  • Everyone is able to hold the owls and study them up close.
  • This lovely, one hour session is ideal as a Birthday Party, Family session,group session, for care homes, special needs etc.

Meet the Owls

​British Owl Workshop
  • 5 years plus
  • This session is a lovely way to meet these wonderful owls.
  • Lasting for one hour this gentle hands on session allows everyone to meet and hold (if they wish) the owls, getting involved as much or as little as they want to.
  • Lots of fun, facts and of course, please take lots of photos.
  • Ideal for Birthday Parties, younger primary school classes, care homes, special needs etc. 
  • 6 year olds + (can be adapted as a junior or senior, family or group session)
  • This hands on session looks at the British Owls in more detail including the owls’ habitat, home ranges, prey, breeding, distribution, predators , conservation etc. (and this can be tailored to what you would like).
  • This a great sessions for birthday parties, family groups, clubs and groups).
  • This one hour session can be extended if required.
